THE DANISH BRAIN INJURY ASSOCIATION

DONATION: DKK 8.000.000,-
20.10.2009

In 2009 the Remmen Foundation handed over a total of DKK 8 millions to The Danish Brain Injury Association at a special event at Rigshospitalet in Copenhagen.

DKK 5 millions was earmarked for training of specialists in the treatment method trombektomi, which means that patients, who suffer a stroke, in the future have a much better chance of survival with this new treatment.

The other DKK 3 millions was donated as a safety net for The Brain Injury Association’s rehabilitation project HovedHuset in Frederiksberg.

Thus, it is the vision of the Remmen Foundation to help ensuring patients, who suffer a stroke, an optimal treatment.
