HENNING REMMENS STØTTEFOND FOR GARDERE

2017

February 23, 2017 “Henning Remmens Støttefond for Gardere” handed out honorary grants to soldiers for their special efforts within the Royal Life Guards.

Six soldiers each received an honorary grant for their latest missions during a ceremony in the officers’ mess at the Royal Life Guards Barracks in Copenhagen. The Commander of the Royal Life Guards, Colonel Mads Rahbek expressed his appreciation and deepest respect for the efforts of these brave soldiers during his nomination speech.

“Some of you receive this grant for having excelled in your latest missions, others for showing your courage and not giving up despite the injuries you have incurred during service”

Among the grant recipients were four veterans who were honored for their efforts in the organization “Veterans In Motion”. An organization that aims to help activate wounded veterans.

The four veterans chose to donate their grants to the above organization.

“You are all role models for us and we honor your efforts”, said Mads Rahbek and congratulated all soldiers together with Mrs. Else Marie Remmen and Mette Remmen Kristiansen from the Board of the Remmen Foundation.
