Remmen Foundation also supports cultural purposes, and therefore the Foundation chose in early 2010 to donate DKK 1.3 million for the reconstruction and modernization of the new theater center of Herlufsholm.

The auditorium “Galen” was completed in autumn 2010.

Thus, the old gym is now converted into a theater center seating a total of 120 in the actual theater hall.

The center also includes classrooms, locker rooms and a technical room, as well as improved cloakrooms.

According to the drama teachers of Herlufsholm, it has great significance for the teaching, that the school has its own theater center. A donation that will benefit many students in the years to come.
