SOLDATERLEGATET

The Remmen Foundation donated DKK 5 millions to “Soldaterlegatet” during a reception at the Hotel d’Angleterre in 2011.

The donation was earmarked the improving of existing training facilities at selected barracks in Denmark, and purchasing rehabilitation facilities for the barracks.

The selected barracks are the ones in Høvelte for the Royal Life Guard, Antvorskov barracks in Slagelse for the Gardehusar Regiment, and Dragon barracks in Holstebro for the Jydske Dragon Regiment.

The Chairman of “Soldaterlegatet”, Peter Højland, received the donation from the Remmen Foundation on behalf of “Soldaterlegatet”.

Due to the above donation Mrs. Remmen, Chairman of the Remmen Foundation, also participated in the inauguration of the rehabilitation center for veterans in Høvelte together with HRH Crown Prince Frederik.

THE REMMEN FOUNDATION

The Remmen Foundation (Remmen’s Stiftung von 1986) was founded by Henning Remmen in 1986. Originally, the purpose of the Foundation was to operate a variety of commercial activities centered around hotels.
